On Thursday, November 7, 2024, ENB hosted our Annual Raising Our Voices breakfast, celebrating immigrants' contributions, honoring community change agents, and recognizing businesses investing in their immigrant workforce. Just two days after the election, this timely gathering also provided a moment to reflect, address challenges, and reaffirm hope in our shared humanity. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended and supported our annual event. 
 

We thank Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll for her remarks on the contributions of immigrants in Massachusetts and the state's commitment to defend immigrant rights and safety.

We also appreciate Doug Banks (Boston Business Journal), Cristina Silva (Boston Globe), Alberto Vasallo III (El Mundo), Honorable Linda Dorcena Forry (Dorchester Reporter), and Shannon Dooling (Boston University) for their insightful discussion on immigration, labor, the election and media’s role in covering these issues.
 

Special thanks to Piéra Varin for sharing her ESOL journey, highlighting how learning English empowered her to enroll in ENB’s ESOL Teacher Training and how she’s now helping other immigrants to thrive.
