As Senior Manager of Grants and Evaluation, Lee manages grantmaking and technical assistance for ENB’s 20+ English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs run by community agencies large and small across the City of Boston. Lee oversees data collection and analysis across ENB programs. She compiles and presents quantitative and qualitative information both to programs themselves, so they can review and learn with peers, and for all ENB stakeholders interested in ENB’s impact at individual, program, and system levels. Lee sees education as a pathway to social justice, and enjoys working with teachers and program directors, as well as with data.
Before joining ENB in 2008, Lee directed the Adult Learning Program of Jamaica Plain Community Centers for 5 years and previously worked as an adult ESOL teacher, program manager, and trainer at several Boston adult education programs. Originally from Ithaca, New York, she holds a BA in Medieval Studies from Brown University and an MEd in TESOL from Rhode Island College.
