Since Celia Martinez was a girl, she knew her passion was to be an English teacher. Celia learned English at the University of Havana, Cuba. In her 3rd year of college, she began teaching English to History faculty at her University. Celia brings extensive experience teaching English online and in person.
ENB is fortunate to have Celia on staff teaching our workplace ESOL classes, meeting the needs of front-line workers and managers, as well as the businesses that employ limited English speakers. Celia develops and adapts curricula to the training needs of her students and their employers, while coordinating evaluation of student outcomes and progress. Celia also supports ENB’s Business Partnerships Manager in conducting workplace ESOL needs assessments for new employer partners.
Celia has a Bachelor’s degree in English as a Foreign Language specializing in Linguistics, and a Master’s in Teaching Foreign Language. Her dissertation addressed “Activities to promote and develop fast reading.”
