Evelis Cruz is the Development and Events Manager at English for New Bostonians, where she works to build meaningful relationships with donors, partners, volunteers, and community members in support of ENB’s mission. With a background spanning nonprofit development, arts administration, event planning, and community engagement, Evelis is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect, share their stories, and feel a sense of belonging.
Evelis holds a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University and a B.A. in English: Journalism and Professional Writing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, with minors in Art History and Spanish. She believes that strong communities are built through connection, opportunity, and the power of people coming together and is proud to help create those opportunities through her work at ENB.
