Thavy joined ENB in 2022 as a Development and Communications Associate, coinciding with the organization’s 20th Anniversary. In this role, she supported the planning and execution of a series of milestone events celebrating ENB’s impact and growth. In 2025, she was promoted to Development and Communications Manager, where she works closely with the Senior Director of Advancement to lead individual donor cultivation, execute strategic communications, and oversee the donor database.
Thavy manages all outgoing email and social media communications at ENB, guided by a structured and intentional communications plan. She also leads efforts to clean and optimize the organization’s database. Passionate about innovation, Thavy actively explores and implements new technologies to enhance ENB’s visibility and fundraising efforts. Since stepping into her managerial role, she has introduced platforms that streamline processes and improve the overall experience for ENB’s supporters.
Thavy holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. She is committed to applying her academic training to support ENB’s continued growth and mission helping immigrants, like herself, reach their full potential through access to high-quality language education.
Born and raised in Cambodia, Thavy takes great pride in her heritage. She continues to draw on her immigrant roots to inspire hope and uplift others on their own journeys.
